This is a good measure for any age group. For children, it amounts to 70 g vegetables or 100 g of fruit; for adults, a handful is 120 g vegetables or fruit. How or when you eat these portions in the course of the day matters less than to make sure you eat lots of different types of fruit and vegetables. Because each one contains different substances that are good for us. The more colourful, the better!
